Cyclones Announce New Radio Partnership for 2011-12

CINCINNATI, Ohio – The Cincinnati Cyclones, proud affiliate of the NHL’s Florida Panthers and Nashville Predators, announced today that they have entered into a radio partnership with Real Talk 1160 and 1050 WCVX-AM for the 2011-12 season.

Fans will be able to hear all 36 road games on one of the two Cyclones Radio Network stations. All Monday through Saturday road games will be heard live on 1050 WCVX-AM while all Sunday games will be found on Real Talk 1160. In addition, fans can access the broadcast for all games, both home and away, online at CyclonesHockey.com.

“We are thrilled to be the new home for Cyclones Hockey and to provide an alternate sports station to the Cincinnati market,” said Real Talk 1160 General Manager Jamey Schleue. “With Northern Kentucky University athletics, Florence Freedom baseball, and Notre Dame Football already on our airwaves, having the Cyclones join our line-up makes perfect sense for us.”

Nick Brunker will return for his second season behind the microphone as voice of the Cyclones.

“With this new partnership, Cyclones Nation will be able to hear all the action on the ice even when the team is playing away from U.S. Bank Arena,“ said Cyclones General Manager Kristin Ropp. “We’re very excited to grow our radio network with these two great stations and give our fans an opportunity to stay connected with us all season long.”

The countdown to the 2011-12 season is officially underway! Secure your seats for Saturday, November 5 when the Cyclones welcome the Chicago Express to U.S. Bank Arena for the first time at 7:30pm.
