CINCINNATI, Ohio – The Cincinnati Cyclones, proud affiliate of the NHL’s Florida Panthers and Nashville Predators, announced today that Cam Keith has been named the club’s Assistant Coach for the 2014-15 season.

A native of Nelson, British Columbia, Keith will making his coaching debut after completing a 10-year playing career spanning three different leagues and some time overseas. He logged 146 AHL games with Hartford, St. John’s, and Peoria, amassing 36 points (14g, 22a) and 102 penalty minutes. The former forward spent substantial time in the ECHL during his time on the ice, collecting 152 tallies (54g, 98a) in 213 regular season contests. “I’m so excited to be a part of such a great organization,” said Keith. “I’ve always heard nothing but great things about the city of Cincinnati, the fans, and the ownership. My family and I are honored to be a part of such a great community. I’m really looking forward to getting the season started!”

“I’m very happy to bring Cam on as our Assistant Coach,” said Cyclones Head Coach Matt Macdonald. “Having won a championship at this level, he knows the type of commitment it takes to succeed. After his long playing career, I’m confident he will bring a high level of professionalism, work ethic, and knowledge to our team.”

Keith played his collegiate hockey at the University of Alaska-Fairbanks, where he accrued 100 points (41g, 59a) in 144 collegiate games. He finished in the Nanooks top six in scoring during each of his four seasons.
