CYCLONES ANNOUNCE 2017-2018 PROMOTIONAL SCHEDULE
A Number of Popular Nights Return for Upcoming Season
Cincinnati, OH- The Cincinnati Cyclones have announced their Promotional Schedule for the upcoming 2017-2018 season. The schedule is highlighted by tons of events, giveaways, appearances and more that have proven to be fan favorites for many seasons.
This year sees the return of Nickelodeon Night featuring the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Star Wars Night, a pair of Marvel Superhero games, Princess Night, and our Kids Club Game featuring PBS Kids Characters. Fans young and old will have the opportunity to meet and take photos with some of their favorite Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Star Wars characters, Marvel superheroes, princesses, and PBS characters. Additionally, TMNT Night will feature a Ninja Twister Bobblehead giveaway for the first 3,000 fans, and TMNT, Star Wars and Marvel Superheroes Nights will feature specialty jerseys that will be auctioned off following their respective games. Finally, our Kids Club Game will feature a post-game paint-the-ice event for all Kids Club members.
The Cyclones have added two additional appearances this season, welcoming characters from Disney Jr’s PJ Masks on Saturday, December 16 and Nick Jr.’s Paw Patrol on Sunday, February 18; the first of two kids-themed Sunday games during the 2017-18 season. Young fans will be able to meet and greet characters from PJ Masks and Paw Patrol, and February 18 will feature $1 John Morrell hot dogs, as well.

The 2017-18 promo schedule will also feature multiple marquee events including First Face-Off, the 10 Year Anniversary of the Cyclones’ 2008 Kelly Cup Championship, New Year’s Eve, Throwback Night, the 25th Anniversary of the first Mighty Ducks movie, Cyclones Fights Cancer Night, Wiener Dog Races, and Fan Appreciation Weekend. First Face-Off, Throwback Night and Fan Appreciation Weekend are some of the more popular events on the Cyclones’ schedule, and will feature dollar beer, soda, hot dogs and pizza. In addition, Throwback night will also include the ever-popular Teddy Bear Toss and tickets to that game are just $10.
For a third-straight year, the Cyclones will be hosting a game on New Year’s Eve that will feature a post-game indoor fireworks show. Additionally, the Cyclones have added a celebration for the 2008 Kelly Cup championship team and the 25th anniversary of the first Mighty Ducks movie. Cincinnati will also be doing its part in helping to fight cancer with Cyclones Fight Cancer Night which will benefit multiple charities in the area.
This season will also see the return of Wiener Dog Races to this year’s promo schedule as well, featuring the always-popular Dachshund Dash during one of the intermissions.

The Cyclones are also bringing back some of their most popular giveaway nights such as Winter Hat Night, Blanket Night, Cyclones Playing Cards Giveaway, Cyclones Sock Giveaway, and Puckchop Cuddle Up.

It would not be Cyclones Hockey without some beer nights. This season will feature 12 $1 Beer Nights along with a pair of new $5 Craft Draft Nights.
