CINCINNATI, Ohio – The 2010 Kelly Cup Champion Cincinnati Cyclones, proud affiliate of the NHL’s Florida Panthers and Nashville Predators, announced today that they have agreed to terms with center Ryan McLeod.  In a separate transaction, they have released rookie forward Ryan Raven.

McLeod, a fifth-year pro, joins the Cyclones after skating with three different teams in the Central Hockey League (CHL) this season – Texas, Rio Grande, and Bloomington.  Collectively in 2010-11, the Fernie, British Columbia native has amassed 34 points (13 goals, 21 assists) in 53 games.  Last year, McLeod finished sixth on the Colorado Eagles (CHL) in scoring by collecting 58 points (21 goals, 37 assists) in 64 games.  Prior to embarking on his professional career, McLeod was a two-year letter winner at the University of Alaska Fairbanks – where he appeared in 49 games and earned 39 points (17 goals, 22 assists).

Raven, who had just completed his amateur career at Mercyhurst College, was released after playing in a pair of games with the Cyclones.  He did not record any points or penalty minutes.
