Mathieu Aubin Recalled to Lake Erie

CINCINNATI, Ohio – The 2010 Kelly Cup Champion Cincinnati Cyclones, proud affiliate of the NHL’s Florida Panthers and Nashville Predators, announced today that forward Mathieu Aubin has been recalled to the Lake Erie Monsters of the American Hockey League.

Aubin, a fifth-year pro, will make his second trip to Northeast Ohio this season.  In early February, he skated in a pair of games with the Monsters but did not record any points or penalty minutes.  The Sorel, Quebec native has logged 71 career games at the Triple-A level, amassing 11 goals and 12 assists in that span.  For the Cyclones this year, Aubin is currently the team-leader in points (45), goals (18), and multi-point games (11).  The 24-year-old ranks third in the Cyclones franchise record book in both career points (145) and goals (61).

Aubin will join the Monsters on the ice tonight at Quicken Loans Arena as they host the Rockford Ice Hogs at 7:30pm.

The defending Kelly Cup Champions will return to U.S. Bank Arena TONIGHT when they host the Toledo Walleye at 7:30pm.  It will be a Kids Jersey T-Shirt night where the first 2,500 fans ages 2-12 will receive a #24 Kevin Roeder Kids Jersey T-Shirt FREE courtesy of Sun Drop.  2010-11 single game and discounted group tickets are available now.  2011-12 season tickets are also on sale now.  For more information, call 513.421.PUCK (7825) or visit CyclonesHockey.com.
