John McFarland Returns from San Antonio

CINCINNATI, Ohio – The Cincinnati Cyclones, proud affiliate of the NHL’s Florida Panthers and Nashville Predators, announced today that forward John McFarland has been reassigned to the club by the San Antonio Rampage of the American Hockey League.

McFarland, Florida’s second round pick in 2010, was more than a point-per-game player this season during his time in Cincinnati. He notched 25 tallies (12 goals, 13 assists) in 23 games while collecting 14 points (5 goals, 9 assists) in 43 games at the AHL level with San Antonio. Twice during his tenure with the Cyclones, the 21-year-old posted four point games.

The Cyclones will travel back to Toledo TOMORROW to battle the Walleye in Game 6 of their best-of-seven series. Pre-game coverage from the Huntington Center gets underway at 7:15pm on the Cyclones Radio Network (FM 100 The FAN, America One, CyclonesHockey.com) with the opening face-off to follow at 7:35pm.
